Neosho blew out Glendale to open the season with a 51-13 win over the Falcons.
The Wildcats outscored the Falcons in every quarter, including coming out of the locker room at halftime to blank Glendale 23-0 in the third quarter to secure a 44-7 lead with one stanza left.
Senior QB Cade Spiva completed 23-of-31 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns.
Senior Bostyn Patterson caught eight passes for a team-high 119 yards. Noah Soriano caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, while senior RB Denver Welch hauled in three passes for 89 yards and a touchdown. Senior WR Trey Hardin also caught a 16-yard touchdown pass.
Junior RB Kade Lawson carried the ball three times for 68 yards and two touchdowns to lead Neosho on the ground. Welch added 11 carries for 53 yards and a score, while Spiva carried the ball eight times for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively, junior Brody Crane led Neosho with six tackles, while senior Brice Warren finished with three sacks. Everson Tomlinson added a pair of sacks.
Senior Hudson Williams capped the defensive effort with an interception.
