The game is at Cardinal Stadium on John Roderique Field tonight at 7.
“We’re excited to get a chance to play Friday night, to get a win and get back on a winning streak,” Webb City coach Ryan McFarland said. “I think what people forget is that winning football games is hard. Sometimes, we take it for granted.
Our kids are working really hard and are excited for the challenge.”Webb City 1-3 and is coming off a 20-14 loss to Ozark last week.
Mason Williams highlighted the contest for the Cardinals on offense, rushing four times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Young also scooped a loose ball and scored on an 85-yard fumble recovery for Webb City against the Tigers.
Neosho is 4-0 this season and is coming off a 42-20 win over Waynesville.
Cade Spiva completed 17-of-25 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, adding 34 rushing yards as well. Denver Welch picked up 105 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Bostyn Patterson caught five passes for 92 yards and one touchdown.
“We’re going to have to show up and play our best game,’ Neosho coach Brandon Taute said. “They’ll have a great crowd … and I think we’ll have a strong following because our fans have been great all year. It should be an awesome environment.”
