Seneca running back Roman Miller has been named the Zimmer Marketing Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23 brought to you by JL Mobile Truck and Trailer Repair
In the Class 3 State Quarterfinals against Mount Vernon, Miller put on a memorable performance.
He carried the ball 17 times for 177 yards and found the end zone four times to help lead the Indians to a 55-26 win over the Mountaineers.
“Roman is a guy who very seldom comes off the field for us, and he values winning more than anything else,” Seneca coach Cody Hillburn told Joplin Sports Hub. “It doesn’t matter if he carries the ball 20 times a game or if we need him to become a lead blocker for our QB run game. The kid just wants to win.”
