The Joplin Outlaws used a four-run fourth inning to fuel a 6-1 win over the Abilene Flying Bison on Friday at Joe Becker Stadium.
Joplin used a Blake Wilson solo homer in the second and a Landin Midgett RBI double in the second to build an early 2-0 lead. Andre Jackson II, Ravaughn Morgan and Finn Kaiyala added RBI singles in the fourth frame, while Murchael Turner picked up an RBI on a sac fly.
Ty Zahradnik earned the win after allowing one run over three hits, striking out nine over seven innings.
Emir Encalada Jr took the loss after allowing six runs on seven hits in four innings.
Morgan had three hits and scored twice to go along with his RBI.
