CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — The Carl Junction boys soccer team delivered a commanding 6-0 victory over Hillcrest High School on Tuesday night.

Senior striker Nolen Couk led the charge, scoring five goals in a standout performance at Bulldog Stadium.

Couk opened the scoring just one minute into the match, capitalizing on a precise assist from Juan Peña. He struck again in the 39th minute, assisted by Elliot Parker, and completed his hat trick right before halftime with another Peña assist in the 45th minute. Two minutes after the break, Couk found the net again, this time off a pass from Kale Trosper. Peña got in on the scoring in the 52nd minute, with Couk returning the favor with an assist. Couk sealed his historic night with a fifth goal in the 66th minute, once more assisted by Peña.

The Bulldogs’ defense was equally impressive, stifling Hillcrest’s attacks to secure a clean sheet. With this win, Carl Junction improves to 8-2 on the season, while Hillcrest drops to 4-6. The team looks to carry this momentum into their next match against Webb City on Thursday.
