Carthage golfer Addie Foust and Carthage swimmer William Wright have been named this week’s Zimmer Marketing’s Male and Female Athletes of the Week brought to you by JL Mobile Truck and Trailer Repair.
Foust, a senior, helped lead Carthage to a second-place finish in the eCarthage Invite last week. Foust had a stellar round, shooting a one-over par 72, which included a pair of birdies.
Wright, a senior, had an impressive performance last week in Springfield. Wright took the top spot on the podium in four events—two individual and two relay.
Wright was the top finisher in the 200-meter individual medley in a time of two minutes, 7.64 seconds. He finished first in the 500 with a time of 5:16.52. Wright also took first place as part of the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:55.72, while also taking first in the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 3:56.23.
