BOLIVAR, Mo. — The Silo Ridge Country Club (par 72) hosted the Missouri Class 3 District 3 Girls Golf Tournament, where Carl Junction and Webb City had strong showings in a field of 10 teams.
Bolivar claimed the team title with a score of 389, narrowly edging out Central (Springfield) at 391. Carl Junction finished a respectable 3rd with 422, while Webb City placed 5th with 427, both showcasing promising performances on a challenging course.
Carl Junction Secures Third with Balanced Effort
Carl Junction delivered a strong team performance, finishing 3rd with a score of 422. Junior Katie Miller led the Bulldogs with an impressive 95, earning seventh place individually and demonstrating her growth as a key contributor. Junior Rylie Elizabeth Matyi added a solid 101, tying for 10th, while junior Lyric Rayne Belcher scored a 105, tying for 12th. Freshman Hadley Janae Lawver (121) and Kallie Jo Fredrickson (142) rounded out the lineup, gaining valuable experience.
Webb City Led by Haut’s Top-Five Finish
Webb City posted a team score of 427, securing fifth place, driven by sophomore Violet Haut’s standout performance. Haut carded an 86, tying for third individually and proving her ability to compete with the district’s elite. Senior Brooklyn Taylor Cartwright contributed a 110, placing 18th, while senior Clarice Isabelle Zahm (115) and sophomore Cassidy Collins (116) provided steady support. Freshman Irelynn Miles added a 127 to complete the Cardinals’ effort.
