JOPLIN, Mo. — McAuley Catholic High School claimed first place in a three-team high school golf triangular Wednesday at Schifferdecker Golf Course, posting the lowest team score on the front nine.
The Warriors finished with a team total of 177, eight strokes ahead of New Heights Christian Academy (187) and 28 strokes better than Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School (205). Only the top four individual scores counted toward each team’s total on the par-71 layout’s front nine.
