Lady Bulldogs Rally for Third-Place Finish at OMC Tournament

The Lady Bulldogs tennis team battled through the consolation bracket to capture third place at the Ozark Mountain Conference tournament, rebounding from an opening-round stumble with back-to-back victories.

The run started on shaky ground. Bolivar handed the Lady Bulldogs a 5-2 defeat in the tournament opener, pushing them into the backside of the bracket with no margin for error.

They responded immediately.

Facing Hillcrest in the consolation semifinals, the Lady Bulldogs flipped the script, taking control of the court early to secure a decisive 5-2 win. That set up a battle with Logan-Rogersville for third place overall. In a tight, multi-match contest, the Lady Bulldogs held their nerve in key sets to pull out a 5-3 victory and claim the third-place plaque.

The team finishes the tournament 2-1 on the day, closing out the OMC slate on a two-match winning streak.
